Horse Sale Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. Our horse sales are open consignment.  Any and all classes of horses are welcome.  You may call in advance to allow us time to promote your horse for sale or you may simply bring the horse the morning of the sale and check it in, up to the start of sale.

2.  Clyde Meidinger handles the promotion and conducts the horse sales for Wishek Livestock.  It is best to contact him at the following number 701-452-2669.  If you do not reach him, leave a message, he will return your call as soon as possible.

3.  If possible, have registration forms, transfer forms, and EID forms filled out prior to arriving for check in.

4.  Our commission rate is 7%, $35.00 minimum, ($35 no sale fee) for all equine sales. 

 

ALL OUT OF STATE HORSES CONSIGNED TO SELL WILL NEED A HEALTH CERTIFICATE.  WE CANNOT OFFLOAD AN OUT OF STATE HORSE AT OUR LOCATION WITHOUT A VALID HEALTH CERTIFICATE
